Please can someone advise me of some good sleeping bags that I can buy for about £25 to £30. I have only been into camping for a few months, so I don't know much about it all, But I only intend to use the sleeping bag in the summer.
Currently I'm using a £10 Sleeping bag from argos, But I found this to be really uncomfortable, and because It's nylon it doesn't breathe, so I wake up really damp.
hi it also pays to get some sleeping bag liners we have two double polyester typ and 4 youth hostle typ with built in pillow covers from ALDI stores when they are in stock a bargain at about £4 ,99 each we have a set of each in the caravan and same in the camping box ,
------------- geoff & annb,--
never lost just on tour
your just jealous of the little voices talking to me
We have Gelert escape 300SQ bags and are happy with them ,especially as they were only around £12 from winfields!! Still take blankets and liners just incase tho!

Unless the nylon is proofed to be wateproof, which is very unusual in a sleeping bag, most all sleeping bags breath quite well so if you wake damp it may just be too warm for you.
Sleeping bags that have a plain nylon inner can feel a bit clamy and sticky, and a cotton liner can make them feel a lot more comfortable,
Depends on when and how you camp - I prefer to use bags (not the most expensive ones) which have poly cotton outer/ inner - less sweaty and add a small fleece blanket for extra warmth.
We're taking a 4 tog lightweight duvet + cover to France with us in 13 days( and counting!!) time.
A lot of this is down to your ownb personal preference -I don't like mummy bags but had socks, hat and jumper if it's too cold.
