Wow! You are most clever. Ours is indeed a Venturer. If you've changed to region 1, though, are you stuck with it, or does it default to region 2 when you turn it on?
Forget region 1, 2 or whatever. If you follow the instruction above...press 9......it'll play all DVD's irrespective of region coding. If you do want it to revert back to playing Region 2 only, follow above instructions and press 2 instead of 9.
Hi Naomi,
If your going to get a DVD player then the 7" is the one to get, best thing to do is search around and also try buying of the internet as most online stores do discount and special offers when buying on line.
Plus if you go to a camp site meet without leccy then Harry can still whatch his DVD's.
See you around John (+ Irene)
daft question time again - i dont have an ehu but my daughter watches the dvd in the car when we travel. If she were to use it when we are camping - engine off etc would it drain the battery very quickley?
We actually have 2 of the 7" Fuss ones from Toys r Us and they are fab! Lets the teenager watch what she wants in the car (usually Johnny Depp!) and the younger 2 share and watch what they want. An earphone splitter is included in the accesories so didnt have hassle trying to track one down. We link one on holiday to the telly and if we are having a lazy day we tend to lie around the camper watching a dvd, eating chocolate and dozing off...was bliss on a wet day! Also good cos means we can turn the car radio back speakers off and listen to OUR stuff on the road without a grump or groan from the back!!
Loopieloo
------------- need a smaller unit for smaller car..boo hoo
i have been so patient and saved up over past few weeks :O)
neat bit of kit, really happy, can't quite hang it properly in car so we improvised and its secured to back of seat then resting on Harrys travel art set :O)

------------- The futures bright the futures podding!!!!
What do you think to these, do you think i could plu three kids into one as a bit short of cash at present and youngest one might not be that bothered about sound anyway. Also do these things run on batteries when car not running?
