I was going to buy the coleman double airbed that has two compartments, but now confused on which is best i.e. two singles or 1 double. A number of posts have said 2 singles are better and offer more flexibility. Will two singles stay together if there are 2 adults and 1 child sharing?.

Advice please?

we're off to get the double in a minute, witht he two chambers it sounds like sleeping on 2 singles but they're attached, probably better if you're having a child in there with you as2 singles would more than likely separate.

singles are 9.99 and doubles are 26.99 (that's outdoor action, B Burn)

Go for the double - sounds like your arrangements are a bit like mine - except with me its two children and myself.   Can not praise the Coleman Dual Chamber highly enough.  Just posted about it on the other Coleman thread.

We tried a double out last week. My partner couldn't sleep as he felt sea sick every time I moved. We have now go t the 2 single that go together from Lidl for £10! Seem fine! Mind you I had to go to 2 stores to find them in stock!

We have two single coleman flock topped airbeds and find them great ,very warm and comfortable with the added bonus of seperate beds and bedding no more sleepless nights waking up with no covers and a cold bum !!! (apparently we have quilt fairies who mysteriously take the quilt off me in the middle of the night and transport them to my wifes side of the bed !!!...any other fellas suffer from these pesky little creatures ...quilt fairies that is not wives !!)

BTW campinggirl like the signature can never get enough of the Finns

You will find that the Coleman brand and Camping Gaz brand of airbeds are identical, just incase you spot a good price on the camping Gaz mattress, just used the lidl beds last week, no complaints, they strap together to make a double.
