Seeing as all the camping sales have started in earnest now, I am sure that some of you will have been popping into various outlets unable to resist.
After spending so much on other camping bits and bobs, I have promised the OH that I won't spend another penny unless it is an absolute bargin, and I really want want one of those roll up tables.
So my question is has anyone seen those roll up tables reduced anywhere on their travels, wood or metal I don't mind, just that I haven't found these reduced anywhere myself yet.
So if you could keep your eyes peeled and let me know I would be very grateful.
Yep, at hubby's favourite shop, (swear that man's got shares in it!, B&Q! (Well, it comes to something when you go in there one morning only to have the meeter and greeter say looking at their watch 'You're late this morning!' lol )
These B&Q bargins have been mentioned on here loads of times within the past month, so not sure it's still going on but.. They had a complete set of two of the ultra lightweight roll up canvas chairs that go in those bags, (nice shade of a sort of grass green as oppose to the normal bottle greeen for a change), AND one of those aluminium roll up table thingies all at the knock down price of £19.99 reduced from £29.99!!! We got a set hours before setting off for Cornwall and the chairs were totally comfy and that's a gr8 compliment coming from me let me tell you! That handy little net hole thingy in the arm was useful for me glass too! I'd thought you'd only be able to use that for a can or bottle, (and being tea total had visions of only using it for me bottled water!).
The problem is I already have two chairs (just like them actually) and cannot find the room for two more and the table. Although it is a very good deal.
Is there anywhere else that just has the table on offer??
Oh NO!! don't tell me that, I have to drive past Halfords and B&Q on the way home, I can't drive past knowing they've got stuff on sale - H E L P !!!!!!!
Look into the eyes, that's into the eyes not around the eyes.....you do not want to visit B&Q or Halfords on the way home, you want to go straight home and have a cold beer. 3..2..1.. your'e back in the room.
D'ya reckon you could cure my flying phobia too technophobe? Not that I need that for me caravan of course, hubby hasn't reached warp speed towing it -yet!
Bargain groovy chic!!! we got ours in halfords sale, gelert branded, was £12.99 we love it and want another. Woolworths have a VERY similar one for 14.99
I bought that set from B&Q about 3 weeks ago and was very happy - until we used them on our two week holiday and both chairs snapped!! We are not very big/heavy people and they were used normally - don't know if the hot sun weakened the metal but I'm off back to B&Q with them tomorrow. Shame as we really liked them.
Got the last one from my millets store this weekend. It was reduced to £14.99 which I didn't think was too bad. Could have spent a fortune in there with their sale on it was far too tempting
I looked in all the superstores but no one seemed to have any, and we don't have a woolworths anymore
Doh!!!! Just seen enjens post about the Milletts sale - guess where I'm off to today then?????
HAVE to pry myself of ukcs soon coz got to get card and thingies for me Mum's 80th birthday tomorrow and there just happens to be a Milletts where I'm going-lol
At risk of ruining my hippy chick image or anything but I do love those convertable trousers jobbies that Peter Storm make! Not that I get me pins out very often, (way too scary to see), but the trousers are just so-o-o comfy! Well, I can't wear me kaftans ALL the time can I? lol Still have me flower power walking stick tho!
Best get me electronic alarm auto-ejection seat plugged back in then or I'll be on here all day- AGAIN!!!!!
Oh don't hippy chick, after getting the table on the saturday, I just happened somehow (?) to end up back there on the sunday and next thing I know I was purchasing a rather nice Peter Storm Jacket. (My old waterproof is very old and ripped)
Luckily the OH was on hand to get me out of the clothing department, before more damage was done, it was then my turn to get him past the pen knives and mans toys.....
Our only trouble is that hubby's every bit as bad as me with Milletts, so I shan't be taking him along too.....
And I've GOT to get off this damned thing or I'll never get anywhere.
Ah, that explains it! The dogs have pulled the plug out of the socket for me electronic alarm auto-ejection seat! Must plug it back in............sometime-lol
Sorry its taken me a few days to reply I only log on at work- probably could cure your flying phobia, as that's the sort of thing I do for a living (prefer caravanning though)!!!
