We have a double size inflatable which came with a 90second inflation pump.  Wouldn't go back to manual now !  It has a tiny leak so it does lose a bit overnight.

The thing is, we'd rather have a King Size mattress and I cannot find them anywhere.  Does any outlet sell a King Size inflatable mattress that uses/comes with a pump ?

Thanks !

I bought a king-size airbed from the now defunkt (well in my town anyway) Index Catalogue stores.  It's a green flock job, and we inflate it with one of those little yellow inflaters (also Index)  that fit into the cigarette lighter of the car. Haven't seen Kingsize airbeds anywhere else though, they all seem to be singles or doubles.

We have a standard sized airbed but are going to try it out with a single stuffed in next to it in a couple of weeks and will put a thick king size quilt over that to reduce the chance of falling between the 2.

I'd like a high level king size personally but can't find one.

Just looked at the Argos website.  They have:

  • Kingsize Airbed that self inflates and has a hardness control  at £120.00 17
  • Kingsize blow-up matress with footpump at £25
  • Kingsize blow-up matress without footpump at £20

£120 is too much for a matress and having to spend half an hour pumping it up in the heat is a no no.  I'll have a look in Millets.

depends what you call kingsize!

I bought 2 cheap airbeds from lidl - 7.99 - and found that at 160cm wide they are 20 cm bigger than most airbeds sold for camping (and therefore 15 cm bigger than most tent inner tents!!) still have to pump up with foot pump but what are children for!!

I bought the King size airbed from Argos with no foot pump.  Bought a cheap pump from Aldi which blew it up it up from the car battery in about 1 minute, used for 5 nights and not a leak in sight.. we slept like babies and so comfy!

A good buy in our eyes.

5MT,

We use a large high Kingsize air bed, which has a built in pump (2 minutes to inflate). I have seen them in Costco for the bargain price of approx £30 (in VAT). We have just used ours for the last nine days camping and it was fantastic.
