Have just been quoted £74.99 by Halfords for a 110 aph leisure battery - nearly twice the £37.99 that one of my local caravan dealers is charging.

It pays to shop around!

Halfords know nothing about camping, so you won't get much luck there.

Well i got one of those only a few weeks ago, Its strong, made well has a two year guarantee and theres loads of Halfords around so if it goes wrong while your away you don't have far to go for a replacement. You can bet they use a good supplier as they don't want loads of come-backs from a mr cheapy battery.. At the end of the day you get what you pays for. Thats not saying you local guy is selling rubbish, I chose Halfords because i was camping and my one went tts up, and Halfords  are in most towns I'm sure you will find what your looking for, good luck..

This isn't so with their bikes and bike gear. It is overpriced and not that good quality.

That interesting, they told me they didn't sell them when I asked them. Typical! misinformation from a dealer

Went and got it today from the caravan dealers, seems to work fine, parked the caravan up with the mover ok after the tow truck had brought us back home. Very nice dealers, Salop Caravans, didn't seem to mind us taking up half their car park, fitted the battery for me and then moved the caravan out of the way for me while we waited for the breakdown truck.

See here for why we needed a breakdown truck.

--------------------------------------------------------
The coolbox will flatten it overnight if not quicker!
The light would last for ages.
