Is there anywhere that I can recycle small camp gas canisters. I dont want to replace my stove but it seems a great waste not to refill the canisters. Its the most common screw-in type(like they sell in every camp shop) that I have. Its nice amd light and compact for walking and wildcamping but I'd like to not create so much waste. I use one every weekend!

ANY IDEAS?

nope the cost alone to refill them small ones out weighs the cost of buying new, in terms of collection transporting them and testing them to see if they still fit too use and refill. just scrap em

Mine go in with tins, cans & aerosols in the bin my Council provides for recycling.

Thank bordercaz...I'll speak to the council. I just assumed that they didnt take pressurized cans and aerosols, with all my empty beer cans.

Still wish there was a refillable version (for the gas and the beer LOL) but at least I'll be able to dispose of the gas cans of properly.
