I bought the aluminium folding table which is £20 from argos. It folds up into a bag which is around the size of a cricket bat yet makes a very substantial stable table when unfolded. Its very light too
Hi Gear do this FT122 - Aluminium Table which is great, we have one that's twice as big and I carried on my back all the way down a path to the beach... I imagine this small one is even easier to carry
> I think you mean imagination <
As far as English is concerned you are right. On the other hand: having a wide fantasy may well lead to the more specific imagination... I have both..
I do admire you for camping without a car. Most people wouldn't dream of it - but that's probably because our cars have become surgically attached to our backsides and we can't think straight without our car keys in our hands, like a set of worry-beads! (I'm talking about myself really).
I do yearn for minimalistic camping trips with peace and quiet and the bare essentials, but I'm a bit of a worrier and bring everything 'just in case'! I'm working on it though and might have a crack this weekend (2 night trip).
Give it a go! If you pick a site within walking distance to a village or town, you can buy all your food etc once you're there and have set up your tent. We're off to Tenby next week and have picked a site out of the town, 15 mins walk to station. We can walk to beach in 5 mins and shops in 10 - 15 mins so will buy all food, wine etc once there. We can also buy a cheap bbq whilst there and leave it for someone else when we leave.
