I'm thinking about buying a porch awning for when I go away through the winter, are they a lot less hassle to put up than a full size one.
Somebodys offered me a "eurovent" for £80,but I've never heard of the manufacturer before, does anybody know what they're like.
We don't normally bother with the awning outside summer but if it is less hassle with a porch then I'll get one, could anybody reccomend a decent one for under £300 if the eourovent is no good.
We have an NR coniston Lux, it's about 8ft x7ft, it was 100pound cheaper than it's nearest rival, we ordered it from NR and it was here within two days.
We find it's very easy to put up. Eurovent are quite popular, don't know much about them but that price sounds good. You could always buy it to see if you like it, thats what we did we also have a Trio which is a little smaller that we bought cheap before we got the NR, we will use that when we go somewhere that could be a bit squaddy and it won't matter that it gets a bit dirty.
Welcome to the site by the way you'll find it's very addictive.
i have an NR just the smallest and the cheapest for weekends and in the spring. its brilliant. we both love it quite easy and quick to put up. also if we need to take it down wet the front panel unzips this will mean it will be easy to dry in the garage or over a line. we both think it well worth having. we used it recently for a weekend and were able to put two chairs and the table from the caravan in it so that we could eat in there. its perfect and last spring when we first used it we hung coats and put our shoes in there. have a look at their web site .
I have a full size NR awning, think I might be tempted to go for the conistone luxe. They are very good value for money,I have yet to hear a bad word about an NR awning.
The person selling the eurovent has lent it me for the weekend to try out,I'm not too keen though, the poles alone weigh a ton.
