The answer we found was the Brevi Oscar 100 or 120 which is a folding travel cot, this fit perfectly into the area concerned as we also have a Sterling trekker 2004 model. Can sent picture to prove or visit www.brevi.co.uk
Its nice to meet a fellow Trekker owner! We only had ours delivered from the factory in July.... We have been away in it twice so far and love it.
The cots looks perfect as well. I wish i had the knowledge about travel cots that i do now before my daughter was born! Truth is, most of them on the high street look fantastic, sturdy and hard wearing, but the reality is, none of them are practical for frequent travelling! i find them all heavy and cumbersome!
Can't wait for our next trip away, minus the hassle of settling Ella down for the night! Bliss!
Haven't read all the replies but we had the same problem and found the Graco Petite Bassinette
try www.twoleftfeet.co.uk
which is where we got ours from - I think we paid around £70 but it was a godsend.
Thanks so much for all your help people.
I decided to opt for the IKEA cot as it was so cheap, (£22.40!). I didn't really want to spend over £30 for a cot i'd only use once every couple of months for the next 12 - 18 months.
I'm so relieved! I'n looking forward to a much more stress free break next time
