The wife has got one of these as she is disabled and thinks it 's great after using  an air bed for years. She does have a single airbed and only pumped up a little bit on top of it.She reckons it is just as comfortable than the one at home.

Bought it from Jacksons camping shop at Old Arley near Meriden. We live an hour away and reckon it's the best around our area. CCoutdoors in Coventry are also good.

While you're in Halfords, buy her a boxed airbed to go on top.  They are really comfy and I am getting a campbed for next year to put underneath mine!!

the 'normal bed height' airbeds IMO arent good for people with back troubles, there pertty soft especially if they loose any air. But yes they are comfey.

also with a camp bed you can store stuff under it!.

i just use a normal airbed.

We do this too. Just the most comfortable you can be in a tent in my opinion.

That was the problem we had with our high rise airbed, it kept losing air.  Eventually one night it lost so much that I ended up on the floor!!

So it's a campbed with a boxed airbed on top from now on, plus underbed storage!!

mines the green one,if you ask to see the Summer catalouge its in there. Our branch was showing two left when I bought mine, often ask for the out of date catalogue when I am buying anything in Argos that I know they sell all the time, very often you can get it a bit cheaper, mostly do this in the smaller branches as they seem to have more left over.

Someone put me onto this idea a few years ago, they keep an out of date catalouge at the customer service desk, you cant take it away and have to browse at their counter, but if they have any left of what your looking for you can make a good saving as its still all priced at the sale prices.

Plus there are branches where you have to ask yourself would many people living round here be looking for camping gear ? They all have things that are more popular in some areas and not so in others.

I also keep an out-of-date catalogue at home. Easier to browse in comfort.
