I am  new for  camping  and  trying to  get  proper  gear  for  next  summer,I can not  decide what kind  ruskbag to have. How many  liters. I do not have  a car  and will  have to  walk and  carry  on all my  stuff,  so  how many  liters would be enough. Sorry  sound  silly  but I do not want  to  discover that  I do not have  space after when I bought it.

If you mean rucksack, it depends how much you want to carry. Go to a good camping store and have a chat with them.

If you backpacking (walking) then you should not need a Rucksack of more than 75 Litres, and some people manage OK with 65 Litres or less.

Any bigger than this and you will be carrying too much.

We walked the West Highland way with 75 litres. Agree with the above, any bigger you have too much and it's a pain to carry.
