We use a small bin with a lid from Wilko's. I pack the crockery and cutlery in it for the journey instead of packing them in a crate, so the space it takes up is not wasted.

Doh.. hadn't thought of that. Was going to look for some longer bin liners to fit better . Thanks for the tip

Poundland do a great wire carrierbag holder bin thingy that folds flat I use one daily in my kitchen at home!

I'll admit that those waste bins with the 3 'legs' in sections do crack quite easily - I cracked mine being a little too enthuastic when taking it apart, and finally killed it by standing on it while packing last time out, but I will be getting another as they are very useful.  I drilled 3 holes in the base, big enough to fit Wurmi pegs through, and I peg it down outside the trailer door - very stable!!
