can anybody tell me what to use to clean my mates canvas on his trailer tent? its looking a bit grubby.  many thanks

I used Graingers canvas cleaner and a hard brush on our frame tent & it came up a treat (we bought it second hand & it was really grubby). Just make sure you reproof it with Fabsil after you've cleaned it though.

 And DO NOT use any detergent based cleaner or you will never get it waterproof again yoy can use pure soap flakes disolved in water but normally i let the rain clean my tents off

thanks for the info about cleaning canvas very usefull you only get one chance cleaning canvas and it has to be right!!!   cheers keep up the good work  ron

As the tent ages the canvas will go like that, if a bit of rain water and a brush wont clean it, I would leave it myself.
