I recently bought a brand new Camping Gaz twister 270 PZ for £8.50 with postage. It operates off Butane/Propane cartridges CV 270 or CV 470, but does anyone know if I can use non Camping Gaz cartridges with this stove?

Cheers

Only if you can find ones the right size & fitting. I haven't found any alternatives for this size, but Argos Extra do a pack of 4, the 470 size are £19.99, not sure how much the 270 size are. My Campingaz Party Grill uses them and so far we've cooked 5 breakfasts and 6 evening barbies on one can.

My Campingas lamp runs off 206 cartridges and there are quite a few different (cheaper) versions of that size available. Maybe the other suppliers will bring out their own versions of the CV270 and CV470 in due course.
