Does anyone know where I could get hold of a couple of dozen or so of these:

Army steel pegs, 12" x 1" x 1"  T-bar. Generally all green (I paint the tops orange so I can see them).

I use these as a matter of course now and have done for a couple of years but I don't have enough for all my pegging requirements.

I was down at Anchor in Ripley at the weekend and they are right out of them. They had got rid of 30000 of them so there must be some out there.

AAAARGH!!!!! i spit on these pegs.had the misfortune to pitch my tent over one which some kind person had left behind.the top had rusted away leaving a sharp edge which ruined my groundsheet and almost took a toe off!!!

Still limping.

Dammit.

If Anchor haven't got them then I'd guess at a world shortage.

From where you are cs56, try PRB in Leeds, they often have some army surplus as well as Land Rovers.

Or do a google on Army Surplus.
