Guys need your help AGAIN!! I'm Lookin for advice on a good 4 seasons sleeping bag again on a budget.Seen one on ebay JRC fleece lined with 4 season rating.Made for carp fishing I think ,but will it be any good up a hill in the middle of nowhere?HELP!?"
Thanks guys ye I plan to use the bag in the winter(Pardon the pun).I will take a look at the sites you gave me and let you know.I also got a Zeqq tent will let you know how that goes to.Didnt pay much so nothin ventured nothing gained,as they say. Thanks again guys.
I've been hunting for a decent lightweight winter bag too.. I'm allergic to feathers so it has to be synthetic...It's quite trickyt finding one as the temperature ratings given are not any official standard. Also some manufacturers state the 'Comfort' temperature (the temperature whereby you will be warm enough if you are wearing a minimum of say socks, T shirt and undercrackers), whilst other manufacturers state the 'Extreme' temperature (the temperature where you will be ok if you are wearing a full set of clothes so not really very useful unless you are a genuine mountaineer or explorer). So not only do they have their own individual ratings/ measurements, but also you're not always sure if they're quoting the 'Comfort' or the 'Extreme' temperature. I'd strongly suspect the Oggie suggested above is an 'Extreme' temperature and that the 'Comfort' rating would be closer to 0 degrees C.
Anyway to get a decent synthetic bag which is light (not much over 2KG max) and small to pack yet also has a 'Comfort' rating well below zero, without spending the earth, you have a tough problem to crack.
Guys cant thank you all enough for your great help!!Seen another bag maybe someone can shed some light on-an 'Outbound Sleeping Bag' 4 Season, Extra Wide.Thanks.
