morrisons (well the one local to me anyway) are flogging windbreaks/fishing/beach shelter things for £2.75 down from a tenner. Seems to be ok quality wise and for a couple of quid its not a lot to lose if it turns out to be useless
Ooohhhh flaming fingers on auto-pilot again!!! Merest mention of anything remotely bargin orientated and they're off!
Mind you.....we actually do need two new windbreaks coz hubby dispatched our old ones to the bins before coming home from Cornwall this year as they'd definitely seen better days, (and nights). Promising to get us some new ones before next year.
Now all I've gotta do.....is find a bl**dy Morrisons!!!!
I am fed up to the back teeth with those darn wooden poles splitting and that oh so standard plastic sheeting, so my project this winter is to make my own windbreaks (2) I am going to use a a medium strength fabric and may even look at oil cloth, and OH is going to make poles from aluminium. I will let you know how I get on, wish me luck!
------------- Gaynor
I have three sides, left, right and wrong - which one are you on?

Oohhh think ya might wanna rethink that 'letting us all know' gaynor or ya might be inundated with orders
Heaven knows I can't keep up with the orders for me Pattented Electronic Alarm Auto-Ejection Chairs for all the ukcs-anon lot!
hi all we found a good way to stop the poles spliting is to buy ,(you know the rubber walking stick bottoms that stops the walking stick from slipping) you can buy them from markets or any D I Y. shop we found them great. also you can make the poles from any old awning poles made to fit.
