Ignore this and don't buy a cordless tyre pump!

Perhaps if you had payed a bit more, it might have done it quicker. :-)

I often think that there must be large factories churning out stuff that they know full well won't do the job they are supposedly designed for.  Not only that, they then fill container loads and ship it round the world.  Its a mad world.  :-)

sorry fleng, I was joking about getting a more expensive one. :-)  Suggesting a dearer one might have let it down quicker.  :-)

I had the same experience with a cordless pump.

It was Ok on the car tyres but could not make the 54psi for the caravan.

The 12V plug into the cigar lighter are much better.

I have a 12V one with lights etc. Makes the 57PSI for the van tyres fine (Not caravan) but is useless for airbeds. takes over an hour to blow up a single forget the double. It was quicker to blow em up manually. Lung power!!!

Got the yellow air pump inflator/ deflator from Argos for under £8 works on 12V and blows up a double airbad in no time flat. Well worth it & uses far less juice.

I bought a Bosch PAG 12 v pump a while ago,  it is like a hand held battery drill but is a mini compressor (I think). On one charge it will easily top up all the car, spare and trailer tyres with plenty of battery left. It recharges in about 2/3 hours off the mains,  this is the only draw back with it but as I usually use an EHU it's no problem. I dont know the actual recharge times etc as I don't have a manual. Below is an e-bay offer with pictures, I wouldn't be without mine now. It has 3 pressure types PSI, BAR & KG/CM on a digital display. I think new they are about £25-£35
