someone asked this question a few weeks ago and some wag said yes as long as you have a very very long cable.

Otherwise don't know, but someone will soon I am sure.

We used our 3 way fridge on mains hook up in France 3 years ago and  had no problems.  Don't think we needed continental adapter. Will check with hubby and reply back We.are going to France again next summer and intend to use fridge again (wouldn't be withough it). As neelie says best to take an extension just in case (although we usuall take extension with us in UK as well).

Hi

You will need a different end [contental] on you hook up....

3 way fridges are good cos whilst you are on site you can run it on the site electric and turn the gas off.....And when not on site ,use the gas...

Don`t froget you need a oulet for the fumes....

mick..

Not always, but best to have one just in case.  They are small and cheap and available from any camping/caravanning shop.  We have 25 metre lead and have never needed anything longer in France, although some people have suggested that it is a good idea as they have found the hook-up point a long way away from their pitch.

We usually use the small municipal sites and go in low season, so generally have a choice of pitches.

Hi

Absolutely no problem .That is why I bought mine. Plug into the car on the way down and it keeps drinks and snacks cool for the journey. If it won't reach your cig lighter get your garage to put an extra socket in the back of the car.

When you get there plug into the mains in your awning or if amperage is critical run it off gas off yourt bbq point

hope this helps

Along with continental adaptor you should have a polarity tester which tests that live and neutral are not switched. See Towsure website.
