go for the one as its cheaper and has the same maps/software.

The One has a higher grade reciever that should work with athermic windowscreens,to me it seems that the screen has more vivid colours.

The downside against the TT300 is that the speaker doesnt sound so good (but it is loud) and the battery life isnt as long.

You can get some good deals though with the TT300 at the moment (free 2nd car kit in Halfords for example).

BUT the One can be found for around £225 so that would be the one i would go for if i had to choose between the two.

Tomtom One also has a faster processor, definitely the best choice.

www.pcworld.co.uk have them in for £219.00 if you order online, considering one myself.

Pc World will still charge you 4.99 for delivery and as we all know at this time of year that could be fun.

PC world have a facility on their web site ,that you print a voucher of on line then go into to store to collect and you also pay at store when collecting , so you get the web price and dont have to pay or wait for delivery

From memory when you first start placing your order you have a choice of whether to collect in store or get it sent to you. Choose the collect in store option and print the order form off once you have completed it.

Dave, the delivery options state:

Products marked as available for Collect at Store can be selected for you to collect from a local PC World Store, subject to that store’s stock availability.

Simply add the product to your basket as usual. When you reach the "Shopping Basket" screen, you will find you have two baskets – one for delivery and one for Collect at Store. All your chosen products will be in your delivery basket. Those marked as available for Collect at Store can be moved, if you wish, to your Collect at Store basket. Our Store Finder service will then let you choose your nearest store with stock availability for you to Collect at Store.

If you select Collect at Store, you must go to the relevant store to collect the goods by no later than close of business the next trading day. Please allow at least one hour between selecting your goods and arriving at the store to collect them. You will need to take your Collect at Store print out and reference number with you. On arrival, please go to the Advice and Service Centre. We try to make sure that Collect at Store goods always remain available for purchase until you arrive at the store, however we cannot guarantee this. For this reason we do not take any payment from you until you come to our store. You can pay by cash, cheque or credit/debit card, but not by business account. In the unlikely event that the goods are not available we will do everything we can to get the product from another PC World store or find you an acceptable alternative.

All Collect at Store sales take place in our stores. Sales are therefore subject to our usual in store Terms and Conditions and the Manager's discretion. However, provided you bring your Collect at Store print out and/or reference number with you, our store will supply the goods at the online price which applied when you chose to Collect at Store - this may be cheaper than the usual in store price!

You must provide a telephone number when you place a Collect at Store order. We may call you to ask whether and when you intend to collect the goods. If we are unable to contact you we may stop holding the goods available for you.

forget to say also , many national newspapers with a advert from PC world in , also have it at the lower price ,you just need to take advert into store , they definatly had the tom tom one in the sun at £219 last saturday , it just said bring this into store for the lower price ,  This one price on web and one price in store for national chains does really get on my wick though, i have purchased a camara and a printer from currys website ,over the last few months ,and saved myself £100 + compared to their store price , also free delivery, and the service as been excellent , But surely it would be easier for them and me to collect from store if they have it in stock

Comet changed their instore price five times between me ordering on line and getting it delivered. The navman varied instore from £249 to £319 over a five day period.  The web price remained constant at £249. I had no idea retailers changed prices up and down so much. Luckily for my marriage it never went below the web price!
