Aldi are selling a mobile power station £24.99

they have also got a halogen light on a tripod 11.99 bongoman used his at the much wenlock meet it was great for the people setting up in the dark and also used it while we were sitting out having a few beers in the dark

Interesting bit of kit this, but how good are the cheap ones?

I notice that Halfords sell theirs at £70 and there is a Draper on ebay around £90.

I noticed that when I switched from a petrol car to a deisel, I had to buy heavy duty jump leads as the ones I had for the petrol engine soon started to smoke as well as not being up to the job.

So how good are these cheap Netto/Aldi/Lidl power stations?

Can they handle the power?

Do they have power inverters?

Can they cope with deisels?

And can the more expensive ones cope with deisels as well?
