Have just bought a PACE box on ebay and am looking around for a Dish.Has anyone experience of the "Multimo" sat dish. Whats it like to set up and can it receive in France ?

Hi James, must get rid of the blue face.

I don't know where you are located but you will find that most towns have a satellite installer/shop who will sell you a dish and LNB. For France and most of Central Europe the Sky Minidish is perfectly OK and usually costs less than £40. The maxview tripod is also worth buying and again they are less than £40. You could also try E Bay for a dish. If you are going further afield to say Italy or Spain then you would be better getting an 80cm dish, but if you are staying in France, Germany, Belgium, Holland then the sky dish is fine.

Look on ebay for a dish.

 

Look around aldi and places like that for a halogen light on a tripod stand (Ј15 ish) and are as good as the maxview stands.

I ALWAYS TAKE A SAT DISH & MY RECEIVER FROM INDOORS, I GOT MY DISH FROM A SKY ENGINEER WHO WAS INSTALLING THE NEIGHBOURS SATTELITE HE SOLD ME ALL THE CABLE & CONNECTORS FOR 20 QUID.
