Hi All,

We've bought new sleeping bags this year (warm enough to survive the Arctic) but due to a medical condition, our 11 yr old daughter feels the cold a lot more than normal. We were going to invest in a fleece liner for her sleeping bag but were horrified at the cost. Then we spotted a stall at our local market selling fleece by the metre. So we bought a few metres and with the aid of my mom's sewing machine, ran up a toasty little sleeping bag liner of our own. The cost? £2.50.

   They can be a bit expensive, for what they are... I got a pair of 'Coleman' cotton flannel ones, they were over a tenner each... Also got some light cotton 'doubles' for summer, I think they were about a tenner a go, as well...

   One of my sisters is very handy, with a sewing machine... I reckon I'll have to keep an eye open, for some light cotton, I could do with a bit more camping 'bed linen'...
