You're right Happy camper it is in Aldi Catalogue and available from Thursday 6 April.   It costs £9.99 and measures temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit too.

It's a very cheap price as the Protimeter Mini I hired when repairing damp in my 'van cost £15 a day to hire and cost over £100 to buy.  All the cheap ones I looked at didn't give a percentage reading just a led if there was damp present - that was not accurate enough for me as I as was wanting see if my efforts at drying out the 'van had worked.

I certainly be in to have a look at the Aldi one on Thursday as they do some good stuff at excellent prices.

Thanks again - I had got the catalogue today but missed the damp meter.  I bought lot of yummy meats and cheese there for our post-Easter trip away in the 'van.  'Spose I could eat some of it now if I'm going back to look at that damp meter!!!  LOL

I've bought one.  It does seem to work.  I'll be interested to see what readings I get in the caravan as I have a detailed plan of readings from a Protimeter mini that I hired after working on getting rid of damp in my van.

Van's in storage at the moment however.

At £9.99 seemed worth the risk.  The Protimeter cost £15 a day to hire!!!
