just got back from holiday - we used the cadac all the time - breakfast pancakes, bacon, paella,stir fry,steaks - great bit of kit. Can be difficult cleaning in a small sink but that's only a small niggle compared to the advantages. Anyone tried the cadac cleane? is it any good?

got ours from a place online in ireland called  hamilton gas products

£60 ish  inc postage and it turned up in two days

Hi Scruffs

We bought a Cadac about 3 years ago, along with a bottle of Cadac cleaner, which has just run out. The cleaner does work really well, we used to cart the Cadac to the sinks to clean, but now spray with the Cadac cleaner, then mop up the grease etc with a bit of kitchen paper - it works a treat - no more carting to the sinks!

Think I might get some Cadac cleaner then.  Didn't think it would be worth it but will give it a try.

There's a camping shop near where I work and they've got a 10 day crash sale on at the moment - think it finishes end of this week and they had it for £1.50 a bottle when I went in last week - that's less than half price!
