was going to buy this but the campingaz 907 bottle is going to cost me £43 and another £16 to have it filled up. does anyone know if it will run on another gas bottle which will cost a fair bit less to buy and refill? thanks in advance!
Your stove will run on Calor Butane or propane or any other make for that matter. Just make sure that you have the correct regulator for your choice of gas.

£16 for a refill???? my last refill cost £10, camping gaz does cost a bit more for the gas than say Calor, but its a nice size bottle and avaliable in europe,
The cost of the bottle is also high for any other gas supplier, but keep an eye on car boots and you can get them for £5-10 the stove will run on either butane (late spring-early autumn) or propane (all year round), sing the right regulator
Full 907 Camping Gaz available for home delivery here for £39.99. Have to buy your own regulator though. I have emailed them about the price as it is showing at £35 + p&p but when you add it to basket it comes up at £44.99 plus p&p. Bargain if it's the former price - if I don't hear back I will telephone to order tomorrow.
about 15 miles north of sheffield dianebb72, if you want rid of one we could collect it when we next go to scarborough or whitby, which will be a week on thursday.
we rent our bottles off the same places that refills them. we pay £3.50 to "rent" the bottle and its £13 pounds for a refill after that.only pat the 3 50 once and if we give it all up will get cash back when we thake bottle back.have you tried the bargain pages.
Camping Gaz bottles have always been £10 for a refill, as have Calor 4.5kg, but you get more for your money with Calor. However, the bottle size is more convenient. I picked up my Camping Gaz cylinder not so long ago in my local Friday-Ad for £5 - they're always cropping up. Or, go to your local household tip - they're often on sale for this sort of price there.
Try your local tip. Ours will sell Calor or Camping Gaz for a fiver. We got a Camping Gaz 907 last year from the tip. It was in a disgusting rusty state and the screw handle was missing but Homebase took it in exchange for a refill and didnt bat an eyelid.
