Does anyone have any advice on aerials.  Cosidering a Vision Plus image 530/18-2 but quite expensive with all the trimmings and I don't want to buy it just to find it's as useless as the flying saucer we've got on the roof now.

On our first caravan(bought last year)we used a thinish plastic pipe and a cheap aerial from home base which worked fine.cost about £10 all in.
