Using them for washing up and washing your hands is a great idea. I have looked at these, but thought, we wouldn't use it to shower as ther is five of us. Now I will get one if not two.

They work well, given the right weather and a strong enough point to hang it up. My best experience was in Greece, where we were wild camping and relied on them for a month one summer, but will never forget the experience of using one at 5am on a cold damp morning at the NFOL at Berkeley Castle water meadows a couple of years ago!!!!!
We use ours at the beach - there is a fresh water stream running onto the beach - we fill it up there when we arrive, lay it on a rock for the day and use the warm water to rinse the kids down with at the end of the afternoon.
