Does anyone know where I can get an expanding coat hook to hook over my awning pole to hang coats off?  My caravanning friend had one given to her but I can not obtain one from anywhere.  Hers is plastic and folds concertina style with a hook shape either end for putting over a pole.

Many thanks

Andrea, when we use our van we have a free standing coat stand from Ikea, you can also get these from poundstretchers etc, only one thing to bear in mind, if you use a free standing coat stand, you can put all the coats on (theres five of us) whereas if you use the coat hook method, you are limited to the weight which will be imposed upon the awning roof pole, as this could cause the pole to bend and your awning roof to sag,

best regards, Martin

Hi Andrea, Don't know if you have got your coathanging problem sorted yet, but we use fairly heavy duty suction hook's on the side of the van. We've just been away for 3 week's & hooks held various wet weathergear fleeces & jumper's, without falling off the van wall. I got mine from Aldi/Lidl for 99p each though have seen them elsewhere these hooks are not " mickymouse rubbish" they are a serious bit of kit !!, hope this help's?.

Don't know if you can still get them, but what about the clips/hooks that fit over pram handles (for hanging shopping bags on)?
