Hoping to make best use of space available in a tent with 270cm x 270cm sleeping area.

Tent is to be used by four, so looking for either two 135cm-wide double airbeds or four 67cm-wide singles.

Does anyone make airbeds this slim?

Regards,
David

Not noticed any, but I have a big pair of scissors you can borrow to cut them to the size that suits best if it is any help.

Mmmmm, that's about 53 inches in English isn't it?  I think our double is about 50" wide - it's a basic Royal red & blue one if that helps.

Not sure how big they are but would definately recoimmend a Coleman Double Comfort Bed, it has 2 chambers toi blow up which is added comfort to both who are sleeping on the bed and we found that it didnt go down as easy as some of the other airbeds we have had before!!!

Have you thought about a Fat Airic? Iit is a self inflating mat that is 63cm wide and 7 cm deep and v warm and comfy

Although I have only, as yet, tried it in spare room when came home indisposed after a works do! (tired and emotional)

Have a look at the web site,

Coleman Double Comfort double (best double airbed on the market IMHO) is 137 cm wide according to their website. Bet you could squeeze two into a 270cm wide inner. The Cadiz (I`ve got a 5+2) is pretty generous with the gap betwixt inner and outer and the Coleman has a slightly squishy edge at the point where the main chamber loops round the second one.

But the best use of limited space would be if you used self-inflating mats. I don`t get on well with them, but kids don`t seem to have the same problems with old creaky bones that we do. So what we do is have a double airbed for us and two mats for the kids.
