I have just bought two single stoves which run off canisters rather than a big stove and big gas bottle.

I now need a camp kitchen or something to hold cookers with a shelf close to hand for plates, etc.

If anyone has two stoves can u let me know what u use please.

Thanks.

Mandy

cost you a small fortune in gas them and take up more space than the standard double cookers with grill.

i have 2 single uno stoves and they sit nicely on one of the concertina style camping kitchens.I also have one of the lightweight alluminium kitchens with space for burners on top. Works ok for me. They probably do use a bit more gas than convential twin burners but I like the fact that they boil quicker, more compact and and found that I only used 4 canisters between the 2 cookers on a weeks camp in Cornwall last year. You can but 12 canisters for less than a tenner in Argos, maybe cheaper if you hunt around. I prefer these compact cookers as you dont have to lug around large gas canisters.

Thanks Cockram, it was the concertina style i was thinking of getting, but wasnt sure they would fit.  I have the Gelert ones but I suppose they are all much the same size.

I saw a nice fold flat table in our local Focus for £8.99 and it looked really good, was tempted

We have a double gas burner stove but allways carry the little stove that runs off the cannisters for a back up.It came to the rescue one weekend last summer,i would never camp with out it even though it does'nt get used.

We use a table for our twin burner - there's a little space left over around it so it should fit 2 of those single burner stoves.

Faced the same problem a little while ago myself. Was fed-up of forgetting stuff aswell so I came up with this... I can see straight away before I leave if anything is missing.
