We purchased a new Combicool 3 way fridge without any instructions. We hope to use it this weekend and the shop cannot get us a copy until next week. Has anyone got a copy they could email or give me an idiots guide through this link
If on gas, turn the electric knob (the one with the numbers) to 0. Press and turn the other knob (gas one) to max and keep it pressed down. Then press the spark button. Look from the top of the fridge down the hole in the back left hand corner until you see a flame. Release the knob once the gas has been lit about 30 seconds. Then select the temperature that you want it on at using the same gas knob.
we had one of these, thought i had the instruction but i seem to have mislaid ,lost or thrown them out, if i find them before the weeks out will let you no on this post.
I have just bought a combicool but I can't get it to work on gas. Should I let the gas run for a few minute to let the gas flow through or does it work straight away
when on gas turn the knob to max hold it down for 10 to 15 seconds then press hold ingnite check to see if it lights if not then press ingite, you can tell when its on by the heat coming form the top vent, just tsted my one today ...works fine ! off to townsend tomorrow !!! yipeeeeeeeee
I forgot how to use ours (new last year) and just couldn't work it out. I kept trying to hold down the ignition button to prime the gas flow, but it's not - as mentioned above, you have to hold down the gas temperature knob. It does take 30 seconds or more when lighting the first time as the gas flow is very slow and the pipe and burner will be full of air initially. A little tip - make sure you site it absolutely level for it to work best. It's heat that makes the coolant circulate, and it doesn't cope well with being on a slope - you get uneven cooling on the cooling bar. We always take a spirit level with us - it's worth it.
Another thing is when you turn the knob to max just before it says max there is a dot, the dot is actually max not the word (if you understand what I mean) if you turn the knob past the dot the gas goes out.

Thanks Anorak - I was having all sorts of problems with my new Weaco. I just couldn't get the gas to stay on when i stopped holding the knob down even though it was on MAX as per instructions. I backed it off to the white dot and hey presto worked first time.
