I could probably put up with a Genny that is run at a reasonable time for a reasonable period than put up with the long drawn out situations I sometimes see.  Young children running/cycling around, screaming and shouting and as most would describe, enjoying themselves.  I have watched youngster running around for hours on end, unsupervised, while the so called adults sit around their smelly old BBQ with the radio playing too loudly, shouting and loudly laughing disturbing the peace of others.  No I'm not a spoil sport and also enjoy a beer and good company, but more and more times I see this happening.  This is also a form of noise pollution which will disturb the peace and tranquility of others.  A Genny will probably and hopefully be run with others in mind and probably for a good reason when you consider the general feeling towards them, but the use of radio's BBQ parties, car doors slamming and the cursed car alarms always seem to go on into the late evening when perhaps others are trying to have a quiet evening in the caravan away from the usual humdrum of life.  I certainly in no way condon the unnecessay use of generators, but as more and more people want more and more gadgets on sites with no EHU then I can only see the use of these things increasing.  Oh, no I dont use one but for one reason or another, others might have too.

Nebulizers run brilliantly from a 12V tyre inflator.
It is after all exactly the same thing an air compressor. nothing different.
If anyone needs a nebulizer get yourself a 12V tyre inflator, most come with an adaptor for pumping up inflatable toys/ airbeds & the like. Just use that adaptor & push the nebulizer tubing on to that.
My wife & my dad both use nebs and the portable ones with battery cost around £300 even seen 12V ones at rediculous price. I hit on the idea whe the wife had an attack while we were out and there was nowhere to plug her main neb in. Worked a treat. She mentioned it to the pulmanary dept at the hospital and they said it should be fine to use if fact a good cheap alternative to shelling out for a portable one.

gary kirk, simple fix if you hate kids enjoying them selfs use adult only sites.

did you know you can get a 3 way Nebulizer for free? that runs on rechargable batts or 12v or mains and they work better on 12v due too the ampage batts give out.

I like the smell of BBQ's on camp sites. Don't mind children running around enjoying themselves either. We have three of them and have never had any complaints. They are usually tucked up in bed by eightish though. Don't like the idea of generators (or radio/tv's)

I in no way dislike the idea of children enjoying themselves, or other campers having their BBQ's, thats what camping and caravanning is all about.  My examples where only there to show that there are other forms of noise pollution than just generator users.  Both my boys, now 16 and 19, where brought up on camping but where also brought up to respect other site users.  They too enjoyed themselves and from time to time we had our BBQ and I still love to go out in the morning and have a fry up on the caddac.  But I would still rather put up with a considerate Genny user rather than inconderate camping neighbours.  Maybe I have just been unlucky but the last holiday we had led to us packing up and leaving early because our neighbours thought it ok to have noisey social gatherings well past midnight on 3 consecutive nights.  Yes enjoy yourself but not at the expense of others.  If I was enjoying the peace and quiet and found that broken by the putt putt of a Generator, being used inconsideratley, then I too would be pee'd off 17
