I was thinking of getting my three yr old a ready bed for this summer's trip. I thought I could put him in his sleeping bag first then into the ready bed. Anyone got any suggestions or opinions?

Was hoping this might make it harder to escape so I can enjoy an extra glass of wine at night LOL!

dont do it there too cold ive got 2 girls aged 13 and 10 and they where 2 cold in them

My four year old daughter has one - it isn't very warm and she never stays in it very long. She loves the idea but hasn't slept in it.

My eight year old uses her readybed. Very cold used on its own but as it's narrow we put the whole thing inside a cheap sleeping bag we bought at Argos and she's as snug as a bug in a rug!

They`re quite a good idea if used with a decent sleeping bag inside...stops them rolling off. Too cold on their own though.

We use them just as air mattresses on top of foldup campbeds.
Then on top of that we use normal duvets.
Even though it was cold at night over the bank hol. we were warm enough with our set up.

Yes readybeds are great, keeps them snuggled!

We have a spiderman readybed which he only has when camping
(cant wait to get to bed) we put a 2/3 season junior mummy bag in (if its not peak season) and he's as warm as toast

ready bed was from Argos
