Whatcha

 

I need a awning ,but I measured it and it came to about 800cm ,bearing in mind that my metal tape measure is not very good going round the metal slotty thing....Should I buy a size 6 775-800 or a size 7 800-825 or will they both fit?

 

The caravan is in a field in France so I cannot re measure it...

Hi
To measure for an awning , the mesure tape or string as it bends better it needs to go from the ground at a small angle and up over the edge of the van and down the other side again at a small angle , them measure the string to get the correct size.
Failing that it should be in the hand book and you should get the size 800 if that is what it measures , what make is the van ?

I dunno mate, a luna moolight or summart...1992 it is either 14 or 15 foot ,I think..

 

800 would place me in both sizes...

Most reputable dealers will be able to tell you the size required from the make and date of your van,,,,,,,,,,, doesnt hurt to double check though
