We have a 12v fridge that works in the car cigarette lighter,I want to know if there is a mains adapter for it so we can leave it running with a EHU,any help appreciated.

Yes there is. I believe it's called a rectifier. Maplins do them:

But I would imagine you can get them cheaper

You can get one here on e bay at a very good price, i paid £24-99 last year as my old one burnt out and needed one quickly so just bought one as a back up to use with my air compressor for blowing airbeds up.
