I read in the instructions that you need to use the diffuser with the bar b que grill but it doesn't mention it for other fittings which is why I asked. I've used the diffuser with the plate myself but wondered if I was doing something wrong. Look forward to hearing what Riversway say.
We've used the Cadac's in South Africa for years. They are great and you can take them everywhere, to the beach, to the day night cricket mathc to cook the half time bbq.
Riversway Leisure seems to do the best deals in Cadacs. I dont know where they are based though. Try your local caravan and camping shops if you want to buy over the counter. A lot of them stock Cadacs.
I have read the posts re Cadacs and Cobbs with interest. I have looked at the Cadacs, but not worked out how you do a roast with one. Can someone please tell me, maybe I have yet to see the whole thing?
The question about the gas blowing out, i have seen many people putting a can ie beer can cut open either end at the bit to stop it blowing out. Ours doesnt have this problem.
Well I've been and done it, I went out a bought the cadac deluxe and I am sure we will enjoy it. I have one question though , there is a small bag containing a brass jet, is this just a spare or do i have to fit it if so there dosnt seem to be any instructions on it . If someone could answer this little problem then I can get it going.
Steve.
p.s if someone wants a cheap cadac I've just put my old one on ebay.
Steve - if memory serves me right, the little brass thingy has something to do with Denmark - to be fitted to comply with Danish law? Not living in Denmark so haven't bothered. It has worked fine for last 2 years.
Thanks for that Steve, there was a single glove in my box as well , is it meant to be there? is it a thermal type glove or was it perhaps left in by mistake .
Steve - I am sure the glove is meant to be there. We certainly got one with the Cadac we bought couple of years back. It's meant to be thermal but I have never tested it so can't say how good it is.
