COULD BE INTERESTING !
PC maker Evesham, which now has its fingers in many related digital entertainment pies, has launched a portable digital TV called the Pocket Theatre.
Sporting a widescreen 7in TFT LCD display, it comes with a in-built digital TV tuner and portable aerial for those who will want to make sure that something as unimportant as work doesn’t get in the way of this year’s World Cup. It weighs in at 520g and a rechargeable 1900mAh Li-Ion battery promises up to 3 hours viewing. Like most things digital it has a Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). And, for some strange reason there’s no footie on, you can hook it up to a games consoles, DVD player or camcorder. There’s a standard analogue TV port that lets you turn your main TV into a digital TV receiver, which is quite handy. Due soon, it will cost £150.
