I've just bought a Kyocera 85 watt solar panel and Steca PR1010 controller.
I know you can connect 2 batteries together and have the solar panel charging both of them.
Do the batteries have to be close to each other, or could I leave one battery fixed in the back of the car (don't do lifting unless I have too!), and make up a lead to connect the two together.
If I can do this, does the lead need to be a certain thickness.
Thanks
Tim
