Thats what I do. Camp bed with self inflating mat, a Thermarest Basecamp! I found the Thermarest just wasn't thick enough for comfort,so either use the camp bed underneath it or my 3/4 size Storm Shield self inflating mat. Either way is cosy and comfy.

Hi berrhug, we were at silversands, its a bit more basic than camusdarach but its half the price and right on the waters edge. If you enjoy roughing it you should give it a try the next time your up......
