Hi,

I have a couple of gas appliances (table top patio heater and stove) and a couple of gas bottles - Calor and CampinGaz (so I can exchange it in France). Anyway I would ideally like to be able to use either bottle on either appliance without having to mess about swapping regulators. I'm looking for some sort of in line quick release coupling that I can put inline in the gas hose. This would also allow me to put the gase hose for the patio heater through the hole in the middle of the table!

Does anyone know of sucha thing?

Indeed I do. I get them from BES

It's one of those sites where you can't link to individual items, but if you click on 'LPG & Oil', then select 'Cocks, Taps & Fittings, and scroll to the end of the first page, you'll see what you're after.

It's part number 17002 and costs £3.58 for the coupler pair. I have a campingaz regulator made up with a tee-piece and two of the female halves. Works very well. The male half is also compatible with the external gas outlets on caravans.
