I became a Trangia convert a few months ago after some good advice from the peeps on here. I now love my Trangia - I discovered this weekend that the small two person coffee perculator that we bought at a car boot for two quid fits perfectly on the Trangia so i can now just leave it heating up and glugging away for just under half an hour while I trek off to the loo and the shower! (I leave it outside the tent rather than inside obviously!)
You also mentioned Coleman's Adrenaline 2. As you say, too heavy to backpack seriously (TerraNova Voyager for that) but use one for car camping. Probably the best small tent I've used.
Trangias are too gutless for me, I'm afraid. Optimus Nova - king of stoves!

You could try sticking your Optimus Nova (all hail the mighty Nova) inside a Trangia for the ultimate set-up.
(It's a long thread so be patient as it downloads)

Got some tonight, half filled the super cat stove mk3, only 9 holes around the base, then put 300ml of water in the middle pan and boiled it in 2 minutes!!!
Then I realised that I could do the whole job in the biggest pan, and that would be my windsheild! The cat stove holder needs a couple of mil' dremeled off the feet tonight to allow it to fit the middle pan. As the photo shows, the standard Trangia pan holder works with these pans.
I'm on tacho tomorrow, meaning a compulsory 45 min break, look out for the flames at Knutsford services
