Well I was introduced to a new gadget at the weekend a South African Skottle! It's a great invention the one we used was made by Cadac and looks like this :
Great for cooking your big breakfast as you cook in the middle, move it to the outside cook the next thing etc etc, keeping it all warm. I reckon you could cook anything in it it's like a giant wok on gas.
I have now decided I really want one!!! ... Quinnys
The skottle attachment on our Cadac is great for stir fry and sauteeing (sp). I am a Cadac freak now, love doing the brekkie on it especially on a continental campsite, the looks of foreigners who smell the good old bacon and egg is worth preserving

I have three sides, left, right and wrong - which one are you on?
I got the cheaper version made by campingaz(PARTY WOK-runs on 907 cylinder). In my opinion it works just as well as the cadac(friends have one of those). We went camping for the bank holiday weekend and used it for all our meals. We cooked breakfast for 7 on it and could have fitted more on it. Curries and anything on that line tasted good as did our Chops for sunday dinner. Word of advice though, in the wind the flame can be affected so it is best used in sheltered area ie. behind windbreak.
I don't know how we ever managed to cook before without one, we struggled under a pathetic grill on our cooker!!
The look on peoples faces when they could smell all our food cooking was great!!
