I got one from the tip for a £1,I dont need it any more so when I was in cornwall I tried to give it away,I offered it to four people before anyone wanted it
Whilst on the subject of Campingaz does anybody know the weight of the cylider when empty? I know Calor print this on the shroud around the valve but can't see it on my R904 and I need to know how much gas I have to warrant the 30 mile round trip to re fill it.
Further question on Camping Gaz bottles - couls someone please confirm the minimum standard of bottle that is accepatable to exchange?
Seen some available on ebay but they are very tatty, rusty etc and would need to get them filled/exchanged and don't want to be caught out. Thanks in advance.
Somebody gave us a campinggaz 904 bottle that was about 20 years old and very rusty but it still had its handle bit and we didn't have any problems exchanging it, in fact when ive handed a nice bottle in, ive been a bit miffed when they give me a tatty/rusty one back!!
Just paid £10 for a pair of 907's from my local recycle yard. One had a missing handle. Went straight to my local 'Eros' tool hire centre and had the one without the handle exchanged for £15.99 plus £1.50 extra due to the missing handle
