There`s no doubt though that the lower the centre of gravity the more stable the object, or car. Sticking 60Kg on the roof ain`t going to change it though for any practical purposes. If you hit the wrong bend at the wrong speed at the wrong moment, the car will roll, top box or no top box. So drive safely and appropriately, whatever you`re carrying.
I stick to what I said earlier.
There is no chance that overloading your roofbox will cause your car to "roll-over" going round a bend, unless you plan to put an upright freezer in your roofbox! The car and roofbox would collapse before there was enough weight in it.
Driving inappropriately will do that, irrespective of having a roofbox.
