I looked at the Woolies cool boxes as I needed a new one. I thought they were expensive given that you needed to buy the mains adaptor as well. Then I found a bargain in Argos last week - a mini fridge at half price (down to £24.99) that works on mains or car/12v and has both cables with it. We tried it out and within an hour and a half the temp was down to under 5C - much more efficient than a coolbox. Another plus is that its really quiet.
Downside is it's not as spacious, but I managed to get a 4 pint/2 litre milk carton, 500g butter, 6 pack of yoghurts, sausages, and tomatoes in it and still had a wee bit of room to spare.
