Hi

Saw a two ring hob with grill at Tesco for £49.95. I think it was a camping gaz. Does anyone know if this is good value or not? And are they any good?

Thanks

Karen

I've just bought one of these as well.
Argos do the Chef for £44.99 and you see it at on-line stores for £39.99, but then you'll normally have to pay £5 postage unless you're buying lots of other stuff at the same time. So £49.95 is OK, but you can get it a little cheaper. Remember, you'll need a regulator for your chosen type of gas bottle.

We bought one from Tescos a few weeks ago - it was labelled on the shelf as costing £44.97, but when we paid at the checkout, they charged us £49.95. When we went to customer services they gave us all our money back and we got the stove for free - we were amazed! I expect they have sorted this out now, but it's worth checking the price on the shelf before you buy!

It is a bit pricey at Tesco's, Towsure did have it a lot cheaper, with a carry bag.

I have the Camping Gaz Chef & Grill but didn't get a carry bag with it, which I regret. Any recommendations for a bag?

Can you get the carry bag for the chef separately? My box is looking a bit battered and torn.
