The reason I ask about the weight is I bought two 907's from the local recycle yard for £10 the pair.

I exchanged one for £15.99 (plus £1.50 for new handle)and was wondering how much gas (if any) may still be in the other bottle.

As the full bottle weighs 6.2kg if I knew what an empty one weighs I could deduce what the gas weight of a bottle would be. This would give me an indication as to what may be in the second bottle?

My second bottle weighed in at 5.2kg. (bathroom scales)

Update: Just found out that the weight of the gas in a full bottle is 2.7kg so the empty weight of the bottle should be (6.2 - 2.7) = 3.48kg. looks like my second bottle is about 63% full?
