We have recently bought a Daxara 127 trailer & we want to buy a wheel clamp for it. We are having real problems finding one to fit. We have emailed several companies but we seem to have a strange tyre size 4.00/4.80 x 8. Can anyone with this trailer recommend a wheel clamp. We need it before we go away on Thursday so your help is urgently required.

Hi Shazm19 - 400/480 x 8 is a standard wheel size. Most trailer wheel clamps should be absolutely fine.

Follwoing some great advice from John T (Towsure) and by checking with Bulldog, I have just got the Bulldog TC100 Trailclamp:

http://www.leisureshopdirect.com/caravan/caravan_accessories/Bulldog_security$$6.aspx#

We paid £56.27 I think it was as we had found it for cheaper here:

http://www.saundersonsecurity.co.uk/acatalog/Bulldog_TrailClamp.html

and they promise to beat any price.

I am sure John T will confirm with you if it's also suitable for your trailer - I received ours the day after I ordered it and it fits great.

Cheers for the comments!

I'm sure that the trailclamp would fit, although there are also plenty of other clamps that would suit, according to your needs and what you want to spend.
